After stumbling upon last year’s Restaurant Week (and loving it), I vowed to be ready for the next one.
The time is among us, my friends. Participating restaurants have been named, menus are being published, and decisions must be made. Ideally, I’d like to spend the entire week eating both lunch and dinner at ALL of these places, but realistically, my digestive tract and bank account are both like, LOL. The easiest time, of course, is the lunch hour because, no babysitter needed, however, my boss would probably not enjoy my leaving everyday for over an hour to enjoy the delights of the week.
So, again, DECISIONS MUST BE MADE.
When confronted with too many choices, the first thing I do is to Get Organized. Luckily, CT Restaurant Week has a handy list of all the restaurants participating, ALONG with their menus, once available. Brillant.
The only teeny tiny problem with this is that I have no idea where some of these places are. Parking in downtown New Haven is a crapshoot, so any place I choose needs to be in walking distance of the office. So what else is a gal supposed to do? MAKE A MAP OF COURSE. And why not share the map with others, if you are so inclined to join in the Prix Fixe Fun?
Each marker can be clicked for more info, including a link to its menu on CT Restaurant Week’s website.
Where are you going first?
