Since moving to Connecticut, hiking has become one of our favorite weekend excursions for the family. There are hundreds of trails to explore and in these Quarantine Times, these weekend adventures have become our outlet to get out and get moving. You can read about the start of the series HERE.
This weekend took us to the Mattabessett Trail on the advice of a co-worker who also loves to hike. She recommended this particular part of the trail called Bluffs Head, as the climb wasn’t terrible and promised a nice view at the top.
She was not wrong, the view at the top was GORGEOUS. We did get her instructions backward though, THANKS ME, and went up the gradual incline side and came down the steep side, but we made it unscathed and had a great time.
