Since moving to Connecticut, hiking has become one of our favorite weekend excursions for the family. There are hundreds of trails to explore and in these Quarantine Times, these weekend adventures have become our outlet to get out and get moving. You can read about the start of the series HERE.
We decided to take it a bit easy this weekend, so we opted for more of a nature walk than hike and ended up at Racebrook Tract. It’s a place we had been to before but hadn’t been back in a couple of years. There are four blazed trails to explore and we found ourselves remembering rather quickly how easy it was to take a wrong turn and end up on a different blaze and think, wait, where are we? Lol. But the trails are easy enough to navigate and we got back to our car without really getting lost.
