When we first moved to Connecticut, I didn’t have a job lined up. I figured we’d get there, unpack and get settled, finish out the summer, enroll the kids in the neighborhood school, and then I would go job hunting.
LOL.
Yeah, no. This is not what happened at all. Turns out, this city has a school lottery and we had missed the lottery for that next school year, so we decided to home school. I spent the rest of that summer extensively researching learning methods and systems, planning, and making master schedules for the school year. There might have been a color-coded binder involved. I blame Pinterest.
And those carefully crafted master schedules? They lasted one day, lol. In the end, I created a one-page weekly schedule that I could print and keep track of what we did each day. Nothing fancy. No color codes. Just a place to jot down what we did and what I needed to do to prepare for the next week, aka what materials I needed to gather and/or print.

With our current situation, I thought this weekly planner might be helpful to those who now find themselves at home and need a way to organize their day. It can also be used to meal plan or even lesson plan if you have kiddos at home with you. Just click the button below to download and print the undated PDF copy.
Stay safe everyone! ♡
