Y’all, I love me some paper planners.
I almost love buying planners as much as I do books.
That being said, I totally bought another planner for 2020. How many planners do I have you ask? lol. I have the planners that I have and let’s just leave it at that. They all function in my life differently and I NEED them. This one is different anyway– this one is for Readers. A Planner for Readers, y’all. I CANNOT.
I stumbled upon the Always Fully Booked Planner, aka Little Inkling Designs owned by Megan Easter, while perusing the #Bookstagram tag on Instagram in late December. I was like, HOLD THE PHONE, why have I never heard of this planner before? I MEAN IT’S A PLANNER FOR BOOKS. Of course, she was an instant follow, and then I immediately clicked over to her website gleefully ready to order when I saw it. The dreaded SOLD OUT box underneath the planner photo. After some more research, I found out that she only releases a limited amount per year and when they are gone, they are gone. In fact, I had missed the SECOND chance to order one. I was legit bummed.
The holidays came and went and I saw various accounts posting about their unboxing videos of the Always Fully Booked and I can’t even play- I was bitter, lol. But then, out of nowhere, I caught a post in early January alerting her followers that there was a VERY SMALL leftover amount that would get listed for sale on January 6th. I SET AN ALARM ON MY PHONE, Y’ALL. WITH TWO ALERTS.
January 6th came and that alarm went off and the amount of preparation that I did. Account created – CHECK. Proper Currency Selected – CHECK. Credit card already typed out and copied so I would just Ctrl-V my way to happiness – DOUBLE CHECK. I was refreshing the browser like it was my job and it finally popped up. I’ve never checked out of a shop so fast. I was legit sweating, lol. BUT I GOT ONE. BAM.
Found out a bit later via her IG stories that the remaining few sold-out around a minute or something close to that. I love Book People. And I love this planner. It was worth the wait. And if you have any interest in this type of planner for next year for yourself, then join me on my first planner flip-through:
